Editorial policy
What we verify, what we will not publish, and what a commercial relationship is and is not allowed to affect.

Sources
Regulatory facts come from the relevant regulator's own register, read directly, with the date of reading stated on the page. We do not republish firm reference numbers from trade coverage. When we checked, two widely-republished numbers turned out to be wrong, which is the reason for the rule rather than the justification for it after the fact.
Technical facts about explorer APIs come from live requests made from a clean machine, not from pricing pages. Where we say an endpoint works without a key, we sent the request.
Scores come from our own hands-on testing against the published methodology. They are not supplied by vendors and vendors do not see them before publication.
What we will not publish
Invented facts. If we cannot confirm a figure, a date or a claim from a first-party source, we omit it. We do not estimate a plausible-looking number and present it as fact, and we do not carry over figures from older content without re-checking them.
Invented people. Articles are published under the Block-Tracker.com editorial team. We do not create author personas, stock-photo bylines or fabricated credentials.
Financial advice. We are not regulated to give it. Nothing here is investment, legal or tax advice, or a personal recommendation, and we do not write content that reads as one.
Predictions. No price forecasts, no claims about returns, no statements implying a guaranteed or likely outcome.
Paid placement. No explorer or firm can buy a position, a score or an entry. We decline these approaches and do not respond to them.
Commercial relationships
We have none. There are no affiliate links on this site and we take no commission when a reader follows a link out. No firm and no explorer pays us for a link, a mention, a score or a position.
We publish that as a statement of present fact rather than a promise about the future. If it ever changes, the arrangement will be disclosed on the page where the link appears and not only here, and the rules below will apply to it from the day it starts.
A commercial relationship would not be allowed to affect what we write. Specifically: it could not change a regulatory fact, it could not suppress a clone-firm warning, it could not add a firm we would not otherwise cover, and it could not cause us to describe a process as fast or easy when it is neither.
External links
Every outbound link on this site carries rel="nofollow noopener", applied by a
shared component rather than by hand, so it cannot be forgotten on one page out of eighty. None
carries sponsored, because nothing on this site is sponsored.
We have no control over external sites and their inclusion is not an endorsement.
How we write about anything commercial
Where this site links out to a commercial service, the same restraint applies as anywhere else on it: no claims about the speed or ease of signing up, no incentive or reward framing, no unevidenced superlatives, and any regulatory status stated as a fact rather than deployed as a selling point. A link says where it goes and nothing more.
We apply that vocabulary across every page rather than only where it might be required. It costs us nothing and removes any argument about where the boundary sits.
Corrections
Tell us at contact@block-tracker.com. Corrections take priority over everything else in the inbox.
Where a correction materially changes what a page said, we update the page and its stated update date. Where a fact has simply gone out of date — a rate limit, a registration status — we refresh it as part of normal maintenance.
Every page states when it was last updated. That date is the most useful thing on the page for judging how much to trust the details on it, particularly for API terms, which change faster than anything else we cover.
