What we can help with

Corrections. If a figure, a date or a regulatory fact on this site is wrong or out of date, please tell us. These get priority over everything else. Include the page and what you believe the correct position is, and we will check it against a first-party source.

Explorers we have missed. If you maintain an explorer that belongs in our directory, or one we cover has changed materially, we would like to know. We do not accept payment for inclusion.

Press and research. We are happy to answer questions about our methodology, our sources, or anything we have published.

What we cannot help with

Recovering funds. We cannot reverse a transaction, recover funds sent to the wrong address, or intervene with an exchange. Nobody can reverse a confirmed blockchain transaction — not us, not the explorer, not the network. Anyone claiming otherwise for a fee is running a second scam against victims of the first, which our fraud guide covers.

Account problems at an exchange. We have no relationship with any exchange and no ability to act on your account. Contact the firm directly, using a number you found yourself on its official site or on its entry in a public regulator's register — never a number that arrived in a message.

Financial advice. We are not regulated to give it and we do not give it. For advice about your own circumstances, speak to a financial adviser licensed in your own country. Many governments also fund a free, impartial money guidance service — worth finding before you pay anyone.

If you think you have been defrauded

Report it to the police or the national fraud reporting service in your country — most have one, and reporting matters even when recovery is unlikely, because patterns are what get these operations shut down. If money left a bank account you control, tell your bank immediately; speed is the only thing that ever helps there. If a regulated firm was involved, report it to the financial regulator that licenses it.

Preserve the transaction hashes and any correspondence. Then be extremely careful about anyone who contacts you afterwards offering to help.

Response times

We read everything. We reply to corrections quickly and to most other things eventually. We do not reply to promotional approaches, link-exchange requests, or offers to place content.
